Christmas Chocolate Sampling Part 1

Today I ended my workday sitting in Costco parking lot and went in for a bag of chips. I came out with MUCH more than I intended including three packages of Christmas chocolates. I got a variety pack of Ghirardelli, a variety pack of Lindt Truffles, and

The Kirkland Chocolates from the world has tasty-looking morsels from all over. At least I'm hoping they are tasty.

Here is a picture of the first three I am trying...

First up is the Guylian Belgian Chocolate Milk Truffle. I was pleasantly surprised to find it in the shape of a sea horse! How cute!

It looks like a marbling of white and milk chocolate and I am not normally a fan of white chocolate so I'm more than a little curious. Here goes.

Wow! That was very good! Smooth and silky and just bordering being too sweet for me. I would buy these again.

Now for the PURE Chocolate Truffles Blueberry Yoghurt from Latvia. No picture because it looks like your basic truffle.

It's....interesting. It doesn't do the melty thing I like so much with Lindt truffles. The inside was much denser with some crunchy bits in there. The blueberry yoghurt flavor was subtle but noticeable. I'm still trying to decide if I like it.

Next is the Baron Chocolatier Dark Chocolate with Cherry Delight from Poland. I'm a little hesitant since they have a website with nothing but a "coming soon" sign and their Facebook page hasn't been updated since 2018. But, here goes...

Wow! I like it! Here's a picture of the inside...

It was some type of nougat with a cherry-flavored gel surrounded by a dark chocolate shell. I would eat these again!

My ranking for these is:

  1. The Baron Chocolatier Dark Chocolate with Cherry Delight from Poland
  2. The Guylian Belgian Milk Chocolate Truffle
  3. The PURE Blueberry Yoghurt Chocolate Truffle from Latvia
Have you tried these? If so, what did you think? If not, which one do you think you would like the best?
